Appearance: Dark brown hair, tanned skin, freckles, bright blue eyes, normally wears a t-shirt and jeans.. Never much for formal wear until he's forced into it. He has a rather athletic build, due to the sports he plays against the other states, and caring for his farm.
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Personality: Laid-back usually, but outgoing other times; really informal with everyone he meets unless he knows it's for business/diplomatic purposes (which hardly happens); he can be a bit over generous when someone needs help, going out of his way to provide food and/or shelter, and anything else that person/country/whatever might need; kinda slow and oblivious to certain things, mostly due to him spending more time outdoors with his farm and away from people; very, VERY kind, until something starts messing with his friends/family, his people, etc., then he's something to fear.
Friends: Alfred; the states (most of them, anyway); Mexico; (somewhat) France
Foes: Besides considering Texas one every time they fight, none.
History: Before America started gaining the other states, he, along with several other states, was part of the Louisiana Purchase, and thus belonged to France (they mostly knew each other through fur trade), until the French Revolution. His ancestors were Native American, and were made to move to where they are now because of Alfred's boss(es). Tyler was largely ignored with the nickname "Indian Territory," until the Civil War, where he was regularly beat on by the South. After more events, and becoming part of the U.S., he had a tough time during the Great Depression, where he went to California's house (much to the other state's disapproval), and was nicknamed "Okie," but now thinks of it as a friendly nickname (aside from when Texas says it.). More time, and there were several tragedies that scarred him, but he's still a happy, optimistic state.
Fun facts: He has two dogs, named OKC and Tulsa; he's usually covered in some kind of natural substance, usually dirt; he and Texas have this rivalry that everyone calls the "Red River Rivalry," after the river that separates the states' territories; the boy, though underage, likes to drink whiskey (prohibition was horrible for him); he can shoot really well; Tyler has a country accent that he'll sometimes try to hide if he has to meet someone formally.. Sure he fails horribly, but he figures it's the thought that counts; he can speak English, Spanish, and French, though he sometimes gets Spanish and French mixed together; he wears a rope necklace (under his shirt, of course) with a few things on it: a chair charm, a feather, and a heart charm.
