Scotcat was sitting atop his master's porch, enjoying the feel of the warm sun against his fur. He swished his tail and curled up a bit more. He felt a hand brush against his fur and looked up at his red-haired owner. The man gently scratched under his chin and he purred loudly. "Am gaeing oot taeday, laddie. Watch the hoose fer me." The Scottish man said as he locked the door to the house. Scotcat didn't really mind staying outside. He was more of an outdoor cat compared to any domestic house cat. "Dinnae get intae trouble." The Scot said and gave him one last pet before heading off into his car.
The cat watched as the man drove off in his car and turned the curb. He yawned and stretched before jumping down the porch and walking across the front yard and walked away. Scotcat knew his way around the place so he hasn't been getting lost and decides to go find some other animals to bug.

Itabby was lounging around, his master was in the kitchen scurrying around to make pasta before he had to go and leave to meet with some humans that Itabby really didn't know because he was sleeping. The small Italian cat jumped up when his master came into the room to pet Itabby before standing up.
"Ve~ Itabby! I'll be leaving for a while! I have to go and get a few things taken care of! be good and don't fight with your fratello~" He cooed before running out of the house and locking the door behind him. Itabby stared after his master before jumping up and running into the kitchen to see the window open.
The Italian cat crouched down and flicked his tail, his small tongue sticking out of his muzzle before he pounced up to get onto the counter and scramble to his feet with a small yelp. Walking over to the open window he perched onto the edge before he crouched down again with a small 've~' as he jumped down, falling onto his belly. "V-Vemeow~...." He whined out a bit out of breath.

Scotcat was scavaging for some food, his ears down on his head. He stared at some bushes as they rustled just moments ago. 'Food' the red cat said in his thoughts as he edged closer, crawling on his stomach. His tail swished lightly and he licked his lips. The bush rustled a few times and he got ready to pounce, he let out a low purr and jumped. The leaves rustling out as he took his prey.
Moments later, he happily stepped out from under the bush, a now deceased rodent in his mouth. He trodded off and jumped onto a fenced and landed into a yard and devoured the rest of his meal. Little did he realize there was another cat there.

Itabby watched as a red cat jumped down from over his fence, he tilted his head and pushed himself back to his feet. Hopping over to the mysterious cat, flicking his tail and letting out a small mewl as he lightly pawed at the other's tail, starting to play with it and completely forgetting that this cat was a new face to him. "Vemeow~ So much fun!" He purred out, flicking his tail back and fourth behind himself. Small ears perked up from on top of his head. Soon enough though he was starting to bounce back and fourth, stopping every few moments to paw at the cat's tail.

Scotcat licked his muzzle and started to lick at his paw, cleaning his face and swished his tail. He looked back as he noticed another cat behind him, playing with his tail. He watched curiously, wondering if he even knew he was being watched. "Whit are ye daeing?" He said to other unfamilar cat as he was hopping and play with his tail. He swished his tail a bit faster and hid it in his side, curling it around himself. "Who are ye? Havenae seen ye before." Scotcat wasn't aware of where he was, he knew the whole neighborhood inside and out, but he may have gotten to a different way as he was chasing around his lunch today. "Am Alastair. It's my human's middle name. Whit's yers?"

Itabby fell after he heard the other cat speak, tilting his head and hoping up onto his feet and walking around to face the cat. "Vemeow~ Ciao~ I'm Itabby. I have lived here with my human for a long time!" He exclaimed, hopping around a bit more before sitting down to scratch behind his ear. "I haven't seen you herea before ve~" He said a bit curious himself, twitching his ear a bit to look at him curiously.
The tan cat fell down onto his stomach, putting his head on his paws as he stared forward at the red cat in front of him. "Ve~ Do you want to play? It'll be fun! We can play with yarn that i have inside or we can play chase! Sounds fun right ve~?"

"Actually, maybe laterrr~." Scotcat purred and rolled on his back. "How's aboot a nap first, then we'll dae whit ye want, Itabby." He felt mellow with the sun's rays on his fur and the warmth if the heat. He was starting to dose off a little from eating all those rodents for lunch. He stretched and turned over, tail swishing and closed his eyes and started to fall asleep.

Itabby tilted his head before laying down and curling up next to him. He looked up at the sun for a while before yawning and closing his eyes, pulling his tail around to cover his muzzle and sleep. His chest rising and falling and the tan cat was calm and fast asleep in a matter of minutes, used to taking naps with his human quite often.

Scotcat was still asleep in the sun with the tan cat right next to him. He rolled over and nuzzled against Itabby's fur, purring loudly and cuddled close to him. He laid there, relaxed and refreshed from the little nap moments ago. He wondered what time it was and blinked his eyes open, looking over to see Itabby still asleep next to him. Scotcat yawned and sat up, stretching. He also remembered that Itabby had something planned for them to do today and waited for him to wake up.

Itabby didn't wake up until a few minutes after Scotcat did. Yawning and moving over to roll onto his belly and stretch his paws out with a mewl. "V-Vemeow~" He was happy, eyes closed as he started to lick his paw and clean behind his ears. His tail swished behind him almost like a dog, hind legs sprawled out behind him as well as he kept himself upright with his front paw. Slowly blinking his eyes open he looked up and saw the red cat. "ve~ you stayed! Now we can play!" He exclaimed almost immediately full of energy.

Scotcat rolled his eyes and smiled. "O' course, I stayed. I promised we dae whit ye want, sae here I am." He shrugged. "Whit are we playing?" He asked, tilting his head. He had never seen such an energetic cat before, all the rest were a different amount of strange, but this one was pretty silly in a cute way and the red cat couldn't help but want to stay and hang around him for a while. His master would most likely be home later like always, hanging out with his brothers in the pub and coming home the next day hung over. Scotcat never really understood what his master did on his free time, it was just a cycle he was grown to get used to and didn't really mind it because his master never really told him what to do and just let him sleep and hunt all day.

Itabby hopped back a few steps before he laid down on his belly and looked up at him. "Ve~ Let's play chase! Cat and mouse si? Me and my fratello do it all the time!" He really didn't know the real reason for those games though, he would pounce on the other cat for a while then they would be running around the house with the older cat chasing after Itabby. The younger of the two always thought it was a fun game to play so he did it often. "Vemeow~" He mewled out, jumping onto his feet and standing at the ready for a chase.

Scotcat blinked at him, tilting his head. Chase? Oh, that sounded familar. The Scot had done that before with his brother and always managed to get the other one angry, nearly getting clawed at until their masters--or Arthur's master had told him to stop and nagged at Scotcat's master for being so careless in taking care of his pets, which always got a shrug or no response at all. Scotcat found their interaction very amusing. "Sure, I'll play wit ye." He said, getting down to pounce at him.

Itabby hopped up onto his feet and turned around to book it the other way, running around a tree and hiding behind it with a small mewl. "Venya~" he mewled out, peeking out from behind the tree with a tilt of his head so he could watch the other cat. He said he'd play with him so he was expecting the red cat to come running after him. His tail flicked happily behind him and was seen on the other side of the tree.

Scotcat pretended not to notice and went the other way and hid, waiting for the tan cat to crawl out thinking it was safe so he could run on over and pounce on him when it was the right time. He waited close by as he saw Itabby slowly moving out of his hiding spot as Scotcat crawled on his stomach, ears folded downward and waited to pounce on him. He quickly rushed over to him and tried to pounce on him before falling into the ground, practically stumbling.

Itabby squeaked, running a few feet away before he looked back, tilting his head and walking over to him. "Ve~ Are you alright?" He asked, flicking his tail as he moved over to poke at him with his paw. The tan cat started bounding around a bit, putting out his front paws to try and see if the red cat was alright. "Vemeow~?" He whined out before plopping himself down onto his belly.

Scotcat was playing dead as a Plan B since his first plan didn't work and laid there. It was working pretty well when he felt the other's paw brush against his own. He felt the other was down and popped back up, poucing on Itabby, pinning him down to the ground. "I win!" He said cheerfully, swishing his tail happily. "Come on, dinnae gret! It's all in good fun!" He said and nuzzled his cheek as an apology.

Itabby pouted a bit before looking up at him with happy playful eyes. "Vemeow~ That was fun! We should play again sometime ve~" His ears perked up when he thought he heard something but brushed it off to try and squirm out from underneath the Scottish cat. So he could try and pounce on the other instead. When that didn't work he plopped down and whined. "V-Ve...."

Scotcat smiled and patted Itabby's head. "We should work on yer pouncing skills." He said and sat up, playing with Itabby's tail, pawing at it gently. "Ye ave a wee tail, Itabby. It's kinda cute." He had never seen such a fluffy tail before, besides the huge cat that liked to hang around his brother often. The cat was too much of a handful for one cat to handle. But, he smiled and continued to paw at the other cat's tail.

Itabby looked back at him and tilted his head. "Vemeow~ Si! I do need to work on it." He mewled, jumping up and turning around, putting his front paws on the ground and in a way wagging his tail much like a dog. He rolled over onto his side and stretched his front paws out to him with a small purr. "Venya~" He meowed.

Scotcat smirked and went down as well, his tail swishing lightly and crawled a bit closer to him. "We'll work on tha richt.... Nyeow!!!" He pounces at him and rolls them both onto the grass, crashing into the bushes causing the fence to move a little and a few birds fly out from the commotion. Scotcat was a bit dazed as he was the one that got the most impact from being so carelessly rough and playful. "Ye alricht?" He asked, his eyes spinning round and shook his head.

Itabby shook his head and blinked his eyes a few times. Still getting a bit of the impact he looked up at Scotcat and meowed. "I'm a fine~ Grazie ve~" He said happily before standing up and shaking himself off. Moving over to the other he lightly nudged him lightly to get him to stand up. "Ve~ are you okay?" He asked, tilting his head and one of his ears folded down the side of his head a bit. Sitting down so his tail flicked behind him as his gold eyes looked down at the Scottish cat worriedly.

"Aye! Aye, I am." Scotcat replied with a twitch of his ears. "Am fine, nae harm done, lad. But, I am starving. I chust had some lunch earlier, but tha nap got rid o' my hunger. Dae ye by any chance ave any food? I'd gae back home, but my owner is oot taeday.." Scotcat didn't usually mooch from other cats when he was off on his own. He always did hunt for his own food, but since this cat was close to home, he decided to ask instead. "Am sorry fer soonding like a freeloader.."

Itabby nodded, bouncing up and lightly trotting around a bit. "vemeow~ Let's a go to my place! We can a get something to a eat!" He said happily. His owner might have been out but he knew where the food was, how owner always left it out for him to snack on when the Italian was out of the house. The Italian cat flicked his tail a bit before nodding and looking ahead of him for a moment. "I'm a ready when you are venya~"
